Spring 2026 Intensive Course (IC) Event:
The cost for the course is all-inclusive*. The price includes IC tuition, all meals, and hotel accommodations.
*Airfare and any other ground transportation is not included.
Between November 21 and December 31, 2025 the Early Bird pricing is $5,650US. After December 31, 2025 the price will be $5,900US. This class will sell out, so do not wait to sign up.

Cancellation policy:
Prior to February 22, 2026, you may receive a full refund less a $100 cancellation fee. Between February 23, 2025, and March 22, 2025, you may receive a 50% refund. After March 23, 2025, there will be no refunds or credits. Please consider purchasing separate travel or trip insurance for any cancellations, including weather or health issues.
Airport & Transportation:
The nearest airport is Norfolk International Airport (ORF), approximately 15 minutes from the venue. Ground transportation to the venue is on your own.
The IC ends on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
Opening event:
Wednesday, April 22, 2026: 6:00-7:00 PM appetizers & cocktail hour, 7:00-8:30 PM dinner & introductions, 8:30-10:30 PM night site survey & lighting demonstrations.
Weather:
The IC is a hybrid mix of classroom and site work. Please check the weather before arrival and pack accordingly. Rain or shine, hot or cold, we will be outside during the days and nights.
Online Course Work:
Registrants will be enrolled in an online educational platform for prerequisite classes to be completed before arrival. You will receive an email with a link to the online portal.
Additional information may be obtained from The Landscape Lighting Book, 3rd Edition, by Janet Lennox Moyer available on Amazon. We recommend you review this text prior to your attendance at the IC.
Computers:
We recommend attendees bring a computer to the IC. Documentation is a key element of this class. This means utilizing digital photographs, drawings, Microsoft Office (such as Excel), Bluebeam and other software programs to complete the work. If you do not currently use any software, this will be covered in class. While recommended, a computer is not mandatory for a successful experience at the IC.
